Greetings all..

Last week there were changes made in regards to the qualifications for Adults Leaders.    Here are three points of reference for you in regards to it.. 

-Bishop Guaglielmone’s (liaison from USCCB to Catholic Scouting) statement & frequently asked questions regarding the changes

-Copy of the National Catholic Committee on Scouting’s Statement 

I will be sending an email out this week to all those that have attended our retreats, been involved at Scout Sunday and also Scout Training to not only pass along the above information, but also to remind them about the upcoming Scouter Training Day and the upcoming retreat! 

VERY IMPORTANT!!!

Our next scheduled meeting is Wednesday August 19th.  HOWEVER that night we have our outdoor movie night here at the AYRC for summer camp families.  Close to 300 campers and families will be here from 6:30 -9:30pm.  Parking will be a DISASTER!!    After discussion with Fr. Gene we will be MOVING our meeting to TUESDAY August 18th .. same time at 7:30pm in the St. Ann Room.  I hope with this advance notice you can make it.
