Hi Folks!

Just a reminder that unless there is an extraordinary reason, all Scouts are
expected to be in attendance tomorrow for the Troop meeting and for the
Retreat at Ross Dock in Ft. Lee this weekend. Please be prepared to get to
the site or to meet up with whoever is driving anytime on Friday after 5:00
PM.

We will be dismissing Scouts from the site on Sunday right after the brief
Morning Prayer at 9:00 AM. Unloading at St. John’s will follow 30 minutes
later, probably by 10:00 AM. We will have heard Mass during the Retreat on
Saturday night, so the boys will be able to go home early.

Directions from Bergenfield

Clinton Avenue toward Tenafly

At the railroad tracks, jog RIGHT and then go straight up the hill.

At the top of the hill turn RIGHT onto Rt. 9W South

At Palisade Avenue turn LEFT at the traffic light

Go underneath the Palisades Parkway and turn RIGHT at the wall/barrier to go
down the hill

If there is a barrier, drive around it

At the bottom, go STRAIGHT through the circle

Continue until you get to a second circle

Go ¾ around this circle and down the ramp into Ross Dock.

We will be set up to the RIGHT of the pavilion

If you can’t find us, ask for Troop 139 from one of the Scouters on site or
go to the table at the pavilion

Pickup on Sunday morning can be at 8:30 AM to load, but we won’t leave until
9:15 AM when Morning Prayer is done.

We expect to see just about every Scout at the Retreat this year. At this
point, only one Scout has provided a reasonable excuse for an event where he
does not have discretion no pass on his other obligation.

Yours in Scouting!
