Hi Folks!
Just a reminder that we will be conducting classes in preparation for the
Amateur Radio Technician Exam on Sundays from 7:00 - 9:00 PM in the Parish
Life Center. Amateur Radio has direct requirements impact on 21 different
Merit Badges, including about half of those which are Eagle-Required Badges.
These classes will review topics covered on the exam and give some in-depth
background discussions and demonstrations that will help improve
understanding. I have a limited number of study guides to lend out, so
please let me know if you are interested in participating.
These classes will be conducted on most weeks between now and the end of
January, depending on how the group progresses.
There will be a ONE DAY review of all the potential questions in the
question pool on Friday, December 26 in the Church basement. We will start
at 8:00 AM and continue to 6:00 PM. We will be working though lunch and
supper which will be provided. The testing will start at 7:00 PM.
If you have any questions on the details of these classes, please send me a
note or give me a call.
Yours in Scouting!
