Hi Folks!
For the parade, we will be lining up at 1:15 pm on Monday on Englewood Ave. between Murray Hill Terrace and Washington Ave.   Washington Avenue will be closed, so come early from the east side onto Murray Hill Terrace.  We will end up by borough hall on Washington  Ave. and Merritt Ave.  Pick up on Merritt Ave.

Full uniform is required and water is strongly recommended.  

We need a truck to lead the Troop on the  route and to collect the flags at the end of the route.
Anyone volunteer?

Hi Gordon Beattie,

On Monday, May 26, 2014 at 2pm, the Borough will be hosting the Annual Memorial Day Parade. North & South Washington Ave. between Sylvan Ave. and Columbia Ave. will be closed from approximately 1:15 pm to 5:00 pm. 

The Annual Memorial Day Parade route for this year has been changed. The Parade will begin in the area of Sylvan Ave and travel north on S. Washington Ave and will end in front of Borough Hall, 198 N. Washington Ave. 

All side streets touching South and North Washington Aves will be closed during the Parade. Detours will be posted to divert and direct traffic around the Parade route. 

All NJ Transit buses will be diverted from Washington Ave in both directions onto Prospect Ave. Buses will be able to return to N. Washington Ave at Columbia Ave and will return to S. Washington Ave at New Bridge Rd. 

If you need to travel in the area during the Parade, please plan alternate routes to avoid delays.
