[Troop139] Troop 139 Meeting Notes - 20140610

Hi Folks!
I will be unable to attend the meeting this week due to a pair of playoff games in which Jeremy is competing.
We may have a few loose ends to address in the way of a Board of Review.  If a Scout needs a Scoutmaster Conference, then Mr. Argueta will take care of it.  He will ensure that the Scout has his book filled in, his uniform intact and has been prepared for the Board.  We will need at least three parents to run the Board of Review.  If there is a question about whether a Scout should advance, they can consult with Mr. Gungil, Mr. Sciame or me.

We need to button this up, so that an Advancement Report can be prepared and badges purchased and packaged for next week's Court of Honor and Pot Luck Supper.  I can be available either Wednesday or Thursday evening (TBD) to handle that.  We have some awards in our stock, but we will need a list to make sure that everyone's outstanding awards are distributed.  If anyone has a specific list, make sure to collect it at the meeting and then get it to me.

We will meet in Alpine next Tuesday starting at 6:00 PM for supper.  We will also have a Bridging Ceremony at the beginning of our program and a Flag Retirement Ceremony at the end.  We will need some help this weekend getting scrap wood and the flags up to Alpine in advance of Tuesday.  We will also need to pack up supplies to take up to the festivities and to transport them up to Camp Alpine.  Remember, this is a Pot Luck Supper, so food is needed.

Next week, please bring chairs up to camp.  If the weather is sketchy, or outright bad, then we will simply meet in the Church Basement at 6:00 PM and have our supper and ceremonies there.
