[Troop139] Ramapo Rally Volunteers Needed Sunday, 8/17

Hi Folks!
It's time to volunteer for the Ramapo Rally Bike Tour!

We are responsible for assisting with the health and safety of 1200 riders and helping those unable to continue, or SAG, to get picked up.
You can ride with a non-ham SAG Driver, or drive yourself.  We have some extra eqipment including batteries, mobile radios and antennas if needed.
We also need net control and SAG phone operators at Campgaw Reservation where the event starts/ends.
Operational hours are from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

All volunteers will receive a quick-dry t-shirt and be well fed all day.

Finally, this year is particularly challenging because much of the core communications team is also involved with tbe Passaic County Fair (Thursday to Sunday).  Please consider helping out, or helping out a bit more this year and help the Amateur Radio Service look good to the public!
