I am sending this out to all of our Catholic Committee on Scouting contacts from the last year or so to help us SPREAD THE WORD on some upcoming things!   I would ask if you are no longer associated with your Pack, Troop or Crew could you maybe pass this along to someone else that could benefit from this information.

BSA Catholic Religious Emblems Coordinator Training
Sunday September 21st ... NO COST TO ATTEND!
This event is for those that need a refresher or that are looking to coordinate the Catholic Emblems for your Packs, Troops or Crews.  Please see the attached Flyer for more information!   If you cannot attend this event we are planning to have another training in the Fall - and will announce that date after our next committee meeting.



CCOS Retreat Weekend "Walking with the Saints!"
Planned for October 31 to November 2 at the Ross Dock area by the GWB -  this weekend is gonna be an awesome time of fun, spirituality and some of the traditional scout camping things!   Paperwork for Hold a Site and more is already up on our website and can be accessed directly at http://www.newarkoym.com/annual-retreat-weekend.   Look for more detailed information and schedules in the next few weeks!



BOY SCOUT Sunday at the Cathedral
Sunday February 8th at 3pm will be this years Boy Scout Ceremony.  DEADLINE to submit all paperwork for Scout Sunday is Wednesday December 17th.  Learn more about what needs to filled out and returned, costs for medals, etc all on our web page at  http://www.newarkoym.com/scouting-awards



Finally as many of you are gearing up for another school and scouting year many blessings and thanks upon all of you for all you do for Scouting in our Archdiocese!
