Tony et al,
Holy Thursday Mass, Good Friday Church Hike and Holy Saturday Pascal Fire Troop/Pack 139 Religious Activities
Both Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts ages 6-18 have completed this route many times. There is no charge for Troop and Pack 139 families and friends who wish to walk. All are welcome to stay over in Conlon Hall on Thursday night, but all youth females staying over must be accompanied by a parent who is also staying over.
The point of these events is to highlight the establishment of the Sacrament of the Eucharist, the Sacrifice of Our Lord Jesus on the Cross, and the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ on Easter though a series of communal acts of faith and fellowship. We are a Troop and Pack family .
While the Church Hike is a long day, it is very satisfying and exposes an individual to both personal physical challenge and the abundance of God's Grace in its completion. We work very hard to encourage Scouts to complete the route, but judiciously taking the time required to overcome what are more often mental challenges more than physical.
If anyone has a question about participation, please have them give me a call at 201.314.6964.

Judy, Terri & Tony,
Hello. Hope all is well. Just wanted to touch base regarding the sleepover in Conlon Hall on Holy Thursday (April 17th) and the hike with the Boy Scouts on Good Friday. Voluntary? Is this still on? Duration? Please advise.
Thanks,
Ted
