[Troop139] RIP Mr. Ed Slaughter

Hi Folks!
Five years ago this month, my friend and Asst. Scoutmaster, Ed Slaughter
passed away in a tragic drowning accident.  His energy and enthusiasm for
bringing "cool" badges to the attention of our Scouts was invaluable.
Enclosed are some photos of a Camp Turrell Trip on 20040917, where he worked
with Scouts to complete requirements for the Surveying Merit Badge.  There
is also another photo of Ed working out some details for the boys to
complete an Orienteering course.  Depicted in these photos with him are his
sons Eddie and Alex, my son John and Andrew Flannery.  

Say a prayer for Ed and his family this weekend.
