Msgr. Rich also sent along his thanks for the efforts of our Scouts on
Sunday at the Ecumenical Service.  

All in all gentlemen, this has been a GREAT WEEKEND.let us all be thankful
for all the blessings that have and are!

Dear Gordon,

  Let me echo my thanks not only for Saturday night's dinner, but also for
Sunday night's Ecumenical Service and refreshments.  Although the
participation was small on Sunday, the Scouts' dedication to their assigned
tasks and participation in the service were an inspiration.  Again, many
thanks, to you, Nancy, and all those other adults and scouts who
participated.

  Also, I met a gentleman at Spanish Mass on Sunday who was a scout leader
in some South American country (Colombia?) who is interested in getting
involved.  He is bilingual, and said scouts may be surprised at his blue
uniform, which is the color in their country.  I mentioned your name and the
days scouts met.  Let me know if he follows through. - Msgr. Rich

First let me express my thanks and gratitude for an outstanding Thanksgiving
Dinner.  The event organization, food, entertainment, etc. was terrific.
Craig tells me it was also a financial success, netting $2,400.

Please convey my thanks and appreciation to all those who made it such a
success:  those who provide the food, cooked, served, both food and
beverages, the entertainment, and to the Scouts.

This event is always a monumental effort and yet you all make it seem so
effortless.  It is truly the mark of an outstanding team of talented,
dedicated individuals, such as yourselves.
