Hi Folks!

 

Boy!  What an exciting week we have ahead!

:-)

 

This week's meeting will feature a Court of Honor practice for Arslan's
Court of Honor which is in several weeks and  also gathering of materials
needed for the Memorial Day Parade on Monday.  Arslan will be coordinating
that effort as soon as the boys arrive after the opening at 7:00 PM.

 

Parents are requested to be in attendance on Tuesday during the Troop
meeting at 7:30 PM  for the annual Friends of Scouting presentation which
will be given by Mr. Jeff DeVries, a fellow volunteer from the Northern New
Jersey Council's Three Rivers District Committee.  Support for our Council
is an important element in sustaining our camps and our camperships
throughout the year and especially during the summer.

 

On Monday, Memorial Day, we will meet at 1:45 PM, probably on West Clinton
Ave, by the high school again in full uniform.  Parents are requested to
attend and to march with the Troop.  Ice cream will be served to all who
march with the Scouts after the parade.

 

For those who don't know, Msgr. Arnhols will be celebrating the 40th
Anniversary of his Ordination this Saturday evening.  His faithful service
to the Church and to the parishes and communities in which he has served is
a role model to be emulated by all of us.
