Here is the classroom portion of the Scoutmaster/Assistant
Scoutmaster-Specific Training on Saturday, February 2nd.  

All interested should take this course.

Please let me know of your intentions as we need more trained adult leaders
- both male and female!

WHO - Scoutmasters, Assistant Scoutmasters, Webelos leaders preparing to
move on to a Boy Scout Troop, Troop Committee Members, or any adult who
wants to learn about operating a Scout Troop!

WHAT - An information-packed course led by hands-on experienced Scouters.
Learn both Conceptual and Practical pointers so you can help your scouts
create a dynamic, exciting and varied scouting program for the Troop! This
course is required in order to be a fully-trained leader, and for the
Journey to Excellence award.

WHEN - 8:00am to 5:00pm Saturday February 2 (bring your lunch).

WHY - To learn how to have fun by doing the job correctly.

WHERE - The Montvale Community Center, One Memorial Drive, Montvale NJ
(right off Grand Avenue which is easily reached via the GSP or Rte 17).

COST - The $15 fee includes the Scoutmaster Handbook, coffee, soft drinks,
etc.
