[Troop139] CERT/CART Classes Starting Soon!

Hi Folks!

We need to finalize who is going to attend the CERT class starting on
February 27th?

The first nine weeks are the CERT class.

County CERT/CART Class

(13-01)

Bergen County Law & Public Safety Institute

281 Campgaw Rd , Mahwah , NJ

February 27, 2013 -  May 15, 2013

7:00 PM - 9:30 PM

 

 

Further, those CERT students and past CERT trainees who are interested in
pet care during evacuation shelter operations, need to sign up for the CART
course as well.  Previously CERT-trained individuals may join the course on
the 9th week.   CERT is a pre-requisite for CART.

 

Advancement opportunities for Scouts include:

1.	Most Requirements: First Aid Merit Badge (Eagle Required)
2.	Most Requirements: Emergency Preparedness Merit Badge (Eagle
Required)
3.	Many Requirements: Pet Care
4.	Many Requirements: Dog Care

 

Please let me know tomorrow if your Scout and/or if a family member is
taking either or both courses.  There is no charge for these courses.
