Hi Folks!



Sunday is Scout Sunday at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Newark.  

While we have no individual awards this year, we are receiving the Pope Paul
VI Unit Award and need Scouts to receive it.  

Further, Rich Donovan is requesting help with Altar Servers.  Would any of
our Scouts be willing to do that?   Please let me know.

The reader position has been filled.  See below.

We will be attending the 12:00 Noon Mass at St. John's in uniform and then
at 1:30 PM we will head down to Newark for the Scout Sunday Service.

Hello All...

 

Hopefully everyone is set for the BIG STORM getting ready to hit us!

 

I have spoke with the Worship and heard from Bishop Cruz that they both feel
we should have NO ISSUES at the Cathedral weather related for Sunday.

 

So we are A GO for Sunday!

 

 

WE DO NEED SOME THINGS ...

 

We still need ONE SCOUT to be a reader.  This traditionally has been one
that received one of the larger awards - but we do not have that this
weekend.  I am looking for a Venture Crew member or Boy Scout.  NOT a Cub.
WE NEED THIS !!!  The person would have to be there around 2pm to practice
reading.  If you have someone please contact me ,  This person would dress
in scout uniform for the ceremony.

 

ALSO we need THREE Altar Servers.   They would also have to be there around
2pm and be in full dress uniform.

 

We REALLY, REALLY, REALLY NEED these 4 people.  Please see if you can ask
some of your troops that you work with and please contact me.

 

 

 

We are asking all committee members that can help us to arrive around 2pm
for set up and logistics.
