[Troop139] CART/CERT Classes

Hi Folks!
For those interested in taking a Community Emergency Response Team and
County Animal Response Team courses, I have enclosed the schedule.  This
course is open to anyone, Scout, adult or other 8th grade or order youth.  

 

These courses can be applied to help complete the Eagle-required Emergency
Preparedness Merit Badge and the Pet Care Merit Badge.  These skills were
applied by many of our Scouts and adults during Hurricane Sandy at the
shelter at Bergen Community College last fall, but also helps make you safe
in your home, workplace or anywhere else you may be.

 

The course starts soon, and there is no charge, so please let me know if you
are going to take either of the courses.

FYI:  You must be in, or have already completed, the CERT course before
taking the CART course.
