[Troop139] IMPORTANT! Saturday, May 11th Car Wash and Bake Sale

Hi All, 

Troop 139 is scheduled to hold a Car Wash and Bake Sale on Saturday, May 11th at Conlon Hall in Bergenfield to raise money for Summer Camp Camperships. 

I will need one or two adults to take control of, supervise and coordinate this event. I just found out yesterday that my Goddaughter is having her birthday party in PA and I will now not be in Bergenfield on May 11th. 

Please check your calendars and please let me know if you are available to coordinate with Kofi (the Senior Patrol Leader) to make this happen? I am hoping for an answer by the end of this week so that we do not have to cancel. 

What will need to happen:

All Scouts should save the date for this car wash (this was on the recently distributed Troop calendar)

Kofi (the Senior Patrol Leader) will need to work with the Parent Coordinator and the scouts to get this going (it should run from 9 AM - 3 PM). 

I will put an ad in the twin-boro and the church bulletin. I will send out a promotional flyer in a day or so. 

Signs will need to be made on the Tuesday prior and hung either the night before or morning of. 

Mom's and Dad's or Grandmas that bake... we will need something baked from each family, either cookies, cupcakes, or individual little cakes (hint, hint to Mrs. Miller) so that we can sell them. 

We have all the supplies needed (but we may need some soap), that the coordinator can get from Mr. Beattie prior to the car wash (hoses, buckets, spray nozzles, towels, etc.) 

All scouts should bring water a bag lunch with them.
