[Troop139] REVISED! Troop Meeting Tuesday and Carnival the rest of the week

Hi Folks!

We had a really nice meeting tonight with a demonstration of an industrial
computer accompanied by a review of several requirements for the Computer,
Electricity, Inventing and Robotics Merit Badges.  Scouts interested in
completing the badge(s) need to download the MS-Word version of the Merit
Badge Workbook and follow up with me for a counselor.  


Troop 139 Eagle Scout Bob Dziemian and his Dad, Dave came by last night so
that Bob could give a presentation on his exploits completing the 2000 mile
long Appalachian Trail last Friday!  It was great to see Bob and hear his
stories and wisdom gathered during his journey that started on Good Friday.

Bob has a great sense of tradition and history and he decided to start his
hike on Good Friday because of the start that he received from the Troop
with its Good Friday 20 Mile Church Hikes.  He brought some photos and will
be back in a few months with a more formal presentation for the Troop.  He
is always welcome!  
 

Scouts and parents are needed each night of the Carnival starting at 5:00
PM.  Please come any night that you are available.  

MAKE SURE THAT YOUR HOMEWORK IS DONE!

 

Scouts will be sent home at 9:00 PM on Wednesday and Thursday.
