[Troop139] TROOP 139 ALERT: New Tropical Storm SANDY - Please begin some basic Situational Awareness

Hi Folks!

 

Please take note of the pending stormy weather and prepare for it.

We will be discussing this at tonight's Troop meeting.

Last time we had a need for generators and pumps to keep basements free of
water and to keep food stocks cold or frozen.

See the enclosed note below.

 

There is already some talk about what now TS SANDY could develop into by the
end of the coming weekend into early next week...including possible impacts
in or near the NNJ Section.

 

Here is the OFFICIAL National Hurricane Center Tracking Forecast
link....please begin your initial Situational Awareness and if and when you
feel necessary, include your Teams in the same...if and when more definitive
information comes in from our NWS local offices, I will update you all...
