[Troop139] Palisades Historical Trail Hike and Overnight

Hi Folks!

 

We are heading off to a wonderful day of hiking the Palisades Historical
Trail this Saturday.

 

We will be meeting at St. John's at 6:30 AM in the parking lot and heading
off to Alpine for our walk to Ft. Lee along the banks of the Hudson River.
Once in Ft. Lee we will visit the museum at the historical park and then we
will car pool back to Site 4 in Camp Alpine for dinner and an overnight.  

 

We will be out of camp on Sunday morning by 8:00 AM and heading back to St.
John's for 9:00 AM Mass, unloading equipment and dismissal by about 10:15
AM.  

 

Equipment to bring would be:

 

Hiking - Class B Orange T-Shirt & Scout pants or shorts, extra socks, rain
gear, water, first aid kit, pocket knife, flash light, compass, paper,
pencil/pen, snacks and lunch.  

 

Camping - Sleeping bag, pad, tent (if you have one), eating utensils, change
of clothes and shoes, Scout Handbook
