Dan et al:

Great!

Thanks for the offer to transport Scouts.

I am copying the Troop on this so that they know that we now have sixteen
(16) open slots and that you can transport a couple of Scouts to and from
the Camporee in Sea Girt.

We now have four of us.

Gordon Beattie

Ralph Gulko

Dan Curtin

Patrick Curtin

Who else is going?

Yours in Scouting!
Thanks & 73,

Gordon Beattie, W2TTT

Hi Gordon, Happy Mother's Day to Nancy...

Please count Patrick and me in for the trip...I'll have to work until at
least 5:30, and possibly 7:20, that Friday , so I'll try to get down there
as soon as I can...of course if anyone needs a ride that evening I'll be
available, at either 7 or 8:30....

See you Tuesday,

YIS,

Dan C.

Hi Folks!

We are going to the NJ State Police Camporee in two weeks on May 20-22.

This event is scheduled every three or four years and is being held at the
State Police Academy in Sea Girt, NJ.

Many very special activities and events are planned which are quite unique
in Scouting, so don't miss the opportunity!

We have paid for twenty slots. Two of these slots are taken by Mr. Ralph
Gulko and myself.

We need to know who the eighteen other Scouts and parents are THIS WEEK.

We will be loading up the truck with Troop gear and non-perishable food
items during the Troop meeting on May 17th.

I am going to be going down to the Camporee during the day, to assist with
the sub-camp setup, so coordination of who is going and how they are going
will be required in advance.

See the enclosed email and attachments for additional detail.

KEY POINTS:

* The New Jersey State Police are not allowing for Saturday arrivals.
Friday through Sunday participation is required.

* Mass and other religious services will be provided on site.

* We will need transportation and chaperones for our Scouts as well as
definitive commitment by Scouts and parents.

Those Scouts age 14 and above should consider signing up for the fitness
challenge. I need your signed forms by Tuesday, May 17. They are enclosed
in this email.

There is also a Color Guard competition. If we can get three or more Scouts
to do this, they can practice this week.

See you on Tuesday at 7:00 PM.

Happy Mothers Day!

Yours in Scouting!
Thanks & 73,
Gordon Beattie, W2TTT
