Hi Folks!



I found this short video from tsunami response in American Samoa.  The key
points that were emphasized included that the responders assembled on their
own pending assignment, that they had field gear and communications
equipment, they used "patrol-sized" teams to go out and do their tasks and
finally, they maintained field accountability through frequent check-ins.
He also noted that the landmark references and maps were basically useless
due to the damage, but they improvised by referencing direction and new
landmarks such as house colors.
