Hi Folks!

This is a list that LA County's Disaster Communications folks pack for
extended (2-3 days or more) operations.

Looks like our Troop packing list, merged with a Summer Camp list and a CERT
Bag!

:-)

This "Be Prepared" stuff seems to be pretty infectious. FEMA (the Federal
Emergency Management Agency) has similar lists for families to use when
sheltering in place or for a family "go bag".

I sometimes wonder how difficult it would be for an adult with no Scouting
experience, to wrap their brain around getting this list together. Clearly,
experience of Scouting provides an opportunity to know what to do for
personal or family preparedness.

Yours in Scouting!
Thanks & 73,

Gordon Beattie, W2TTT
