Eagle Project.  

If someone wants to coordinate a response, that would be great.  Otherwise,

Scout Leaders: 

In the event that you are not aware, Boy Scout Ivan Ivankovic from Closter
Troop 63 is in the process of earning his rank of Eagle Scout and can really
use you help. I first heard about it in the local newspaper that many of you
do not receive (see attached). He is collecting school supplies for children
in Guatemala and is currently below his target quantity. Cresskill Pack 127
invited him to our meeting last night and I am proud to say that the scouts
help out by donating 3 bags of supplies. There are drop-off points noted in
the article or you can reach him at iivankovic93 at aol.com to arrange for a
pick-up.

The final cut-off deadline is approaching rapidly. Thank you in advance for
whatever help you can afford him.

My name is Ivan Ivankovic. I am a Boy Scout in Troop 63 of Closter NJ. I am
in the process of working on my Eagle Project which comprises a collection
drive for schools in the Guatemalan highlands. I am working with the
501(c)(3) organizations: Todos Juntos and the Timmy Foundation. Both are
diligent supporters of Guatemala. Assistance in gathering educational
materials is greatly appreciated. 

There are materials that could greatly benefit the small struggling schools
of Guatemala. Even when those children can make it to school there are no
supplies for them to learn with. Supplies that they are in need of are as
follows:  Children/youth books in Spanish, puzzles (from block types to 500
pieces), basketballs, volleyballs, soccer balls, pencils, pens, erasers,
pencil sharpeners, yarn for knitting, markers, toothpaste and toothbrushes,
sunscreen, notebooks, and laptops and printers. 

Please feel free to call me at the number listed above. I appreciate your
understanding of my cause and I entreat you to help me by supplying the
children of Guatemala. Any assistance is greatly appreciated, thank you.
