Interesting video on Vietnam-era communications from the Pentagon Channel.

 

Scary as it may seem, but I think many of us remember when much of this
stuff was new!

:-)

Besides the troposcatter UHF/Microwave systems, I think my favorite part was
the paper tape being used to receive and retransmit messages!
