in response to comments from ramoncathy, yes of course i agree with your  
comments about some stations finding it difficult to operate a contest on sunday  
because of family commitments, i have a young family also, so in the past i 
have  found it difficult also, but still have managed to be active,  but also  
many people still work on saturdays, so i can understand that there is good 
and  bad points , so maybe yes the solution is a contest for 48 hrs, but i 
really  dont think there is enough stations active in the trc contest to make it 
last  for 2 days, there will be a split between the 2 days so unlees the 
operator is  active for 48 hrs there will be no chance that he can work all stations, 
in fact  i think you would work less stations and your score would be less 
than if only  one day.
unfortunately you cannot please everybody all the time, and what is good  for 
one is not good for another , for me sunday is ok, i work hard all week , i  
rest on saturday and work the contest when i am rested on sunday, after all is 
 only 4 sundays each year, surely that is not too much of a commitment to 
make if  you wish to work the contest.
