Just a note of thanks to all that have signed up. We now have 49 subscribers.
And, thanks to the subscribers that have contributed their thoughts, technical comments, and historical experiences.
We are still short of subscribers from Europe. If any of you have personal contacts, please pass along an invitation to subscribe. They can go to QSL.net or QTH.net and get the information to subscribe.
Unless we get a propagation discussion going, or a rare winter long dx vhf+ opening, it's going to be normal for this remailer to be quiet this time of the year. I'm sure that many of us are working, inside, on our stations, in preparation for the coming years dx opportunities.
Just in case some dx appears to be in place during the VHF contest Jan. 23-24, look for K4MHZ at Cape Hatteras FM25, and, maybe, K1MAP at Cedar Island, NC FM14ux.
For any folks who are able to visit the Orlando, Florida, Hamcation (Hamfest) in Feb. 2010, there are a bunch of VHF-Microwave ops and FLWSS members who will be gathering throughout the day on Sat. Feb. 13th. Look for Steve, N2CEI of Down East Microwave and/or Chuck, K0VXM and others in the tailgate area. The Florida Weak Signal Society (FLWSS) will be having a meeting at some point during the day. I plan to be there, and hope to see as many weak signal ops as possible. We always have a good time and good company, swapping stories at the Hamcation.
73 & Happy Holidays to all
Mark Casey, K1MAP, List administrator, Hampden, MA, USA FN32sb
