Hi George,
Have you tried MFJ? They bought out Hy-Gain some time ago.
Also, thrust bearings are common place in industrial settings. Most
of the larger bearing manufacturers offer a wide range of thrust
bearings (Timken is one). Check with your local industrial supply or
bearing house, or the yellow pages or an online search.
The industrial guys probably won't offer anything that will bolt
directly to the tower top plate, but a bracket to interface the
bearing to the tower wouldn't be difficult for me to make.
Also, consider the Rohn TB3 or TB4; it is a fine bearing, an it is
adaptable to most flat top tower plates.
