I have finally made this thing rise out of the dead and into a vertical 
position,  it was always my intention while in the Horiz. plane to fully 
replace the 3 cables, but I managed to put that off to the point that it was 
time to either raise it or do something else...  I had the base poured and 
ready for some time now ..  so the questions center around operating, do any 
of you actually have one of these up and in some sort of use ..  my limit 
switches im unsure of their proper operation on extend, as well if the cable 
on the pull up / pull down pulleys is a straight or figure 8 wrap design on 
the pulley groves...  and a few other misc questions ...  all help or 
responses greatly welcomed  ...  thanx  mac/mc  w5mc
