Greetings
I need help to identify a portable antenna pole. The reason is that the
radio club I am a member of is about to go to the Army and see if we can
beg, steal or even have another two donated or loaned to us on the
condition that the Army will never ask for it back.
The pole is made up of 6 aluminum sections. To assemble the pole they
just slip together.
The top guy rope support also has a rope running through a pulley, great
for getting the wire antenna up, also has a section at the top that
rotates.
The bottom base is made of cast aluminum, with a tapered spike for
bedding into the ground.
Also on the base is the manufactures name=85 Coubro & Scrutton Ltd =
London
I do have pictures of the main parts, so if anyone thinks they could
identify what model this and they need a picture or two to refresh the
recall I have some. This pole would have been used in a =93sigs=94 =
company
as it is to big and bulk for a grunt op to carry.
