[TNham] Unusual questions on recent ARRL survey

My problem is passing out my social security number to organizations that
can not manage much of anything. The RC and FEMA... Think about the chances
of having your identity ripped off. How many people would have access to
this information? The world is not what it used to be but this is
ridiculous.

Think of the credit check as a "responsibility" check. All
background checks and clearances for all organizations include a
credit check as part of the process. Do you want someone who can't
be in charge of their own life and finances to be the ham in charge
of at a situation? (volunteer or not)

There isn't any conspiracy involved as far as I see.

To inject a little humor into things, I'd like them to add a "can't
tell my butt from a hole in the ground" check heehee (no, I ain't
aiming this at at DeWayne and Gregg, just humans in general)
