As you may or may not be aware - On Thursday evening June 28th, 2007 
sometime around 6 PM The 147.195 repeater suffered a catastrophic 
lightning strike. Initial observations include: the transmitter, 
receiver and controller, had a total melt down. The lightening arrestor 
obviously failed and needs replacing.

On a good note - the cabinet still has its doors and all four castors!

A rescue fund has been set up to get this very popular and heavily used 
repeater back on the air. This repeater is home to the Auction Traders 
Net each Thursday evening @ 9 PM
