Join us around the campfire high atop the Cherokee National Forest for this 
year's ARRL FALL VHF CONTEST!  
 
Directions : From Tellico Plains , Tn.:  Travel south on Tn. 68 12 miles 
and turn left onto County Rd. 623 Smithfield Rd. at the Altoona Baptist 
Church Sign., go 3.5 miles and turn left at Miller Cem. / Tellico Ranger 
Station sign.  Go one half mile, turn right at Bald River sign onto 
F.S.126.  Drive 2.8 miles up to top of mtn. and turn right at Firetower Rd. 
FS126C.  Drive 2.2 miles to Waucheesi Bald.  Talk-In on 146.52.  Call

Bring warm clothing for cold nights.  Holly Flats Campground is nearby on 
F.S. 126. with bathrooms and picnic tables. Join us for a few hours or
