[TNham] Hertz Armstrong Marconi???

An article in a foreign publication
(http://newstodaynet.com/06feb/rf1.htm) suggested that HAM stood for
"Hertz Armstrong Marconi" in HAM radio.
While I have never heard of this explanation among the 4-5 more popular
theories, it does sound interesting to say the least.
Has anyone heard of this explanation for why we're called HAMs?
