[TNham] Tennessee QSO Party 2004 in the books

This was my first effort in the TN QSO party. It was hard to work a lot
of stations on the HF bands with the noise and 3 other contests going on
at the same time (the Hiram Percy Maxim 135, ARRL VHF, and the DX
contest).

98% of my QSOs were on 40m. I had a real good run several times, and it
came in waves. I would work the counties, then the states, then back to
the counties again.

20m was not as exciting with all the DX contesters and some of the nets
that were going on. I just couldn't get a good freq to sit on. I went
back to 40 time and again and kept finding good runs to work with. 80
was too noisy and, well...it's 80. :-)

I was glad they finally moved it up a week as it always fell on my
wedding anniversary or in one instance, the wedding itself! :-)

I was pleased with my rookie effort (124 qso's across 29 counties, 21
states, and 2 countries) and want to improve for next year. Hopefully
10, 15, and 20 will be better for me next time around.
