Not sure if anyone has posted their FD site for this year, but with two
weeks to go, be looking for station K4HSM on the air from East Tennessee
(2A).

The Blount County Emergency Communications Service will be holding Field Day
2004 at the Melton Hill Dam pavilions located on Highway 321 north of Lenoir
City on Saturday June 26 and Sunday June 27.  Field day is a nationwide
amateur radio event where participants contact as many other stations as
possible. Contacts are made under abnormal conditions to help develop skills
needed for emergency preparedness. The public is urged to attend and to
learn what ham radio is all about.  Please join us for the 24 hour event
from 2pm Saturday until 2pm on Sunday. For more information, contact Rick
