Fellow Tennessee Hams,
Please visit the website www.tnarrl.org under the link to State Government
Liaison for information regarding the antenna legislation we are trying to
get through this year (it was in the House as HB1010 as Amedned and is in
the Sentate as SB0365 as Amended).  So far it has gone through all the
necessary committees and has passed the House floor unanimously.  There
remains passage in the Senate State and Local Government Committee, to whom
it will be presented Tuesday and, if it passes, Calendaring and then the
Senate Floor.  It would be great if we could get as many Tn. Amateurs as
possible to contact the members of the Senate State and Local Government
Committee and show support for Senate Bill SB0365 as Amended.  That
"Amended" part is really important because it is the Amended Bill that
simply incorporates PRB-1 into State law and which passed in the House.
Please write the Senators on the committee (listed on the website with
e-mail addresses) and ask them to support this Bill.  You may use the sample
letter from the website or use that information to write it in your own
words.  Let's get our bill passed this time!  Thank you.
