Train Derailment on Turkey Creek Road in Concord near Brixworth Blvd
95,000 gallons of sulphuric acid have spilled out and have made contact with
lake, forming a gaseous cloud which is being monitored by emergency
operations in Knox and Blount Counties.
Amateur radio has NOT been requested to activate, but has been requested to
be on standby.
Currently activity is on W4BBB repeaters 147.300/224.500/444.575 in Knox
County.
Blount County activity on 146.940.
Alternates of 147.195/443.500 have been made available if needed.
Please monitor these frequencies and stay tuned to local radio and TV for
updates.
