3G locally has been gradually disappearing over the past couple years or so. The carriers have published official timelines, but my experience is that you may get a little extra bonus time. I finally had to give in and get a 4G LTE phone a few months ago once my 3G phone was no longer usable in West Toledo and Sylvania. Official timeline said it should have quit working almost a year before that.

Subject: [TMRA] 3G dropped locally?Hello, Wanted to check with the NW Ohio Amateur community to find-out what wireless/cell provider completely dropped their 3G service effective April 1, 2022 ? Have a friend with medical equipment that would 'call-in' daily for tracking health progress, and now the machine will not do that. Seems most likely that 3G service is gone and has orphaned that medical hardware?73John______________________________________________________________
