[TMRA] Fwd: TMRA Field Day June 27, 28

Hello Everyone. So there’s been some confusion about Field Day this year. As of this time 21:00 on 06/09/20 field Day at Walcott House is a go. It’s going to look a bit different due to the Covid 19 Virus. Here is the current guidance from the Field Day Chairman. Please direct any questions to Steve. Here is the message From Steve/W8TER
> TMRA FIELD DAY CHAIR

> Field Day 2020 is so much different and will take place under unusual conditions and so therefore will result in unusual operations and unusual rules.

> TMRA will be conducting field day operations this year. Due to the threat of the Corona virus, it is likely we will make a small footprint with our operators and stations.
> 
> TMRA intends to abide by and uphold the Ohio Department of Health rules regarding  Covid-19, camping, and campgrounds.
> 
> Social distancing will be practiced, and facemasks will be required, especially if working closer is temporarily required.
> 
> Everyone working with set-up and tear-down will be asked to wear gloves.
> 
> Frequent hand washing will be encouraged.
> 
>  Anyone refusing to abide by the guidelines will be asked to leave the site.
> 
> Any and all participants should bring their own food, snacks and drinks. There will be no provided food or beverages.
> 
> Stations may be set up after 9 am on Saturday. (Contact Steve, W8TER before Field Day weekend.)
> 
> Operators may bring their own headset / mic to use during their operating time. However, club radios will be "on-hand" if you need or prefer one.
> 
> All operating surfaces will be sanitized between operators. ****Radios themselves should not be sanitized or cleaned except by the radio owner. No bug or mosquito spray should be used on or near the radios either.
> 
> By following these simple “common sense” practices, much of the exposure can be limited for everyone’s benefit.
> 
> Field Day starts at 2:00 pm on June 27, 2020 and ends at 2:00 pm on June 28, 2020.

> Everyone coming to the Field Day site will be asked a short series of questions:
> 
> Have you had a fever of over 100.4 in the last 24 hours?
> 
> Have you knowingly been in contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID 19 in the last 14 days?

> Have you, or anyone you have been in contact with in the past 14 days had any of the following symptoms:
> 
> Cough, Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, muscle pain, sore throat or new loss of taste or smell?
> 
> (We will NOT be recording answers or maintaining any records which would be subject to HIPPA regulations).
> 
> Any “YES” answer will result in that person being asked to leave the Field Day site.
> Hand sanitizer will be available at all operating positions.
