From rhall987 at robhall.org Mon Jan 7 19:27:49 2019 From: rhall987 at robhall.org (Robert Hall) Date: Mon, 7 Jan 2019 19:27:49 -0500 Subject: [TMRA] General Meeting Reminder - Wed 7pm Message-ID: Just a reminder that the TMRA General Meeting is this Wednesday evening. The doors open for social hour at 6pm and the program starts at 7pm. The meeting location is the Electrical Industry Building at 727 Lime City Road in Rossford. The program for the evening will be a remote Skype presentation given by Paul English of Army MARS. Paul is the Program Director for the Army MARS program. I was able to connect with Paul this evening via Skype (just to ensure good connections). He seems to have a tremendous amount of information related to ham radio MARS activities to share with us, and his slides look very informative. We spoke for a while about the different programs (within the MARS program) and some of the digital modes and nets that they communicate with. I think his challenge will be to keep his presentation inside of an hour. :) I look forward to seeing everyone Wednesday evening!
