VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Attention Amateur Radio Emergency Service*(ARES)* volunteers….
Volunteers are need to assist with the Holiday Hustle and the Holiday
Light Parade.
We have provided communications for this event since it started… Due to
circumstances beyond our control we are taking a different approach.
Since we do not self-deploy we can volunteer to assist with what ever
the organization needs us to do. If you _do_ volunteer, please remember
to bring your Orange reflective vest, ARES ID badge, your 2 Meter Handie
Talkie and other communication gear in case it is needed.
There is this caveat… We do not know exactly what we will be asked to
do. There is a good possibility we may not be asked to perform or
provide communications in anyway. Please consider that before volunteering.
Dress to be out in the cold. Remember to bring warm gloves and dress in
layers…typically 2 to 3 layers for about 32 degrees freezing temperature
or more if it is single digits.
To Volunteer please contact *Danielle Walker: ndcwalker at gmail.com or
