The 20 meter (pink) Field day team will be operating 2 separate stations
and locations at the Wolcott house Field Day site this weekend (see info
below).

*We are taking sign-up reservations* from those that wish to secure and
reserve an operating time on one of the 2 stations (please indicate a
requested time in 1 hour increments and which station and mode you would
like to operate. We may also take requests if you'd like to bring your own
equipment to operate (let us know the specifics of your request please).
Contact myself (Rob - KV8P) at kv8p at kv8p.com, via facebook, or via phone or
text at (419)345-5759 with any specific operating times that you would like
to reserve for yourself.

Please do limit the individual requests to 1.5 hour increments or less at a
time to ensure others get a chance to operate. Also, we'd also humbly
request that everyone take a turn helping with logging as well for equal
durations for others. Please note that priority will be given to those
that also help setup, but we will do our best to accommodate all requests
and will confirm with you quickly (before the weekend at a minimum). As of
right now, there is plenty of room and we can accommodate most requests!

Please note that it is not necessary/required to sign up and reserve an
operating time, however, it is an option for those that would like to
reserve a time. We will all honor the confirmed requests. Those that are
signed up are allowed to give away their time to others (including
newcomers). Our team only asks that you be sure to operate during any time
you chose in the event nobody else is there to operate. (having yielded to
you for your time) Also, you are allowed, and are even encouraged, to
make arrangements with more than one group to operate.

*20 Meter Station info below.*

*Station 1*: The first station will be located in the main TMRA tent.
This radio will be an Icom-735 provided by Greg Bramlett KG4USQ which will
be attached to the Crappie Pole beam antenna and rotor at about 28' up.
This station will be setup for SSB and psk31 digital operation using HRD.

*Station 2*: The second station will be located in the school house
building. This station will be attached to two antennas. The first
antenna will be a north/south dipole run parallel to the train depot to 2
trees at about 30' up. The second antenna will be a full size 17' ground
mounted vertical antenna up to the tree next to the school house. This
antenna will also have about 40 ground radials which should make it a
decent performer (albeit a rather "long antenna" for Field Day since the
elevation angle should be very low). The station will be provided by
myself and will consist of an IC-9100. The computer will also supply High
Speed RX/TX CW and all digital modes via fldigi (and WSJT-X if the bands
end up terrible..). This station will likely split SSB and CW mostly
depending on the mode of Station 1.

We are looking forward to sign-ups!
Rob - KV8P
