[TMRA] WEEKLY EVENT UPDATE

Hello All,

I hope to see you all at the Christmas Party tomorrow evening.

The following is information for the good of the club and its Members.

The TMRA Holiday Party will be held on Wednesday December 13th 2017. Doors open at 6pm. The location is 727 Lime City Road, Rossford Ohio. This is the usual location of the General Club Meeting. Please bring a dish to pass. 

In related news 

TMRA is collecting pictures for a slide-show to be presented during the Christmas Party (Wednesday, Dec 13th, at 6:30pm).  

Please send a picture of one of the following to Rob Hall (KV8P) at kv8p at kv8p.com before the Christmas party!  (we'll take one of each if you have one of each!)

1.  Picture of your ham shack.  No shack is too small or big.  We are hoping for some variety!  
2.  Any Holiday Pictures of you and your  family you don't mind sharing!
3.  Any crazy sweater pictures!

Thanks for participating!  The more picks we get the better!

We have received items to give away as door prizes. There will be two tiers of prizes

The Grand Prize will be an ALINCO DJ-500T Dual Band Handheld (2/.70) Radio. This prize will be available to anyone who attends, EVERYONE get a chance to win it.

There will be several prizes also raffled to our NEW HAMS ONLY. The person who donated these Items wanted them to got to Hams with less then 1 year in the Hobby.

Rich / KD8WCB is looking for people to join him in a Digital Antenna Analyzer Build. The Estimated cost of this project is around $55.00.

Is hosting a surface mount clock build. The cost is $15.00 
The build will take place following the February 2018 V.E.Session. 
The build will be held at Maumee Fire Station 2 on Dussel Drive in Maumee on Feb 10th 2018 at 10:00. 

Orders for the clocks must be received by Chrissy no later then Jan 1st to allow time for shipping from China.

There will NOT be a Fox Hunt in December 

The next Fox Hunt will be January 27th 2018 at 1030am (weather permitting). Contact Ron / N8RLH for info or to sign up. You do not need to be signed up to participate. New to Fox Hunting? No problem, we will pair you an experienced Hunter at the Hospital.

There will NOT be an ARES meeting in December. 

The next ARES meeting will be January 27th 2018 at 0900 at St.Lukes Hospital. We meet in the private Basement Dining Room for the meeting. Want to have Breakfast before the meeting? Many ARES members meet at 0800 for Breakfast in the Cafeteria before the meeting. All are welcome.

Due to the Christmas and New Year Holidays there will not be a Newcomers and Elmers net on December 24th or 31rst. HOWEVER, a lot of times an impromptu net will spring up, so if your in the shack, be sure to tune up the repeater. 147.270
