?We will not be testing the hospital radios this month:  next test will 
be first Saturday in October.
In view of the difficulty in getting the locations (and there are 12 
sets of ASPR equipment) manned, ideally with 2 operators - maybe going 
to testing every other month, Oct/Dec/Feb/Apr/Jun/Aug will help.    That 
still meets our obligation to the HCNO for quarterly testing.

We also need to start practicing digital communications with those 
radios, i.e.  Fldigi.

Subject: [TMRA] Reminder and Info: Yaesu Presentation Tomorrow Evening (TMRA
 meeting) - 7:30pm

Just a reminder for the Yaesu presentation tomorrow at the TMRA General
Meeting.  The presentation is scheduled to start promptly at 7:30pm.

Chris, from Yaesu, is planning on being at the meeting early to setup.  I
suspect that he will be willing to entertain a few "pre-presentation"
questions.  However, be prepared to hear, "I'll cover that in the
presentation."  He typically allows for some Q&A in his presentations as
well.  We will be holding the business meeting directly following the Yaesu
presentation.

Chris just called (3pm Tuesday) to confirm for me that he is indeed "on the
road" and is travelling to Toledo this evening (as we speak) for the
"in-person" presentation for us tomorrow evening.  Therefore, please pass
the word to others as well.  I suspect that seating may be limited, so it
may pay to show up early.

One last related thought:   I'll personally plan to wear my Yaesu shirt to
the meeting and I'll be using Fusion (442.850+) on the way to the meeting
(I wouldn't be surprised to hear Chris on there tomorrow evening).  After
his long drive, I suspect that Chris will welcome seeing that kind of
support from our local ham community.
