PICKUP TRUCKS ARE HELPFUL Field day is once a year. We need all the help and talent we can get! Friday June 26 we will meet at the Wolcott house at 1031 River Road Maumee at about 3:00 PM to set up the club tent, set up our logging program, and discuss strategy and lay out of the field day site. Saturday June 27 we will meet at about 9 AM for the ARES meeting and then continue setting up and laying out the site. We will have lunch provided by the club. Usually submarine sandwiches and potato chips with soda pop or water. The field day event starts at 2:00 PM. We need operators and loggers. License is not required. We will be using the club's call. 6:00 PM is the evening meal. We ask club members to bring what they can. We will be asking for a list of food to have donated by members or they can bring a favorite dish to the table. If you are like me, a terrible cook, you do not have to bring anything. Bringing food is NOT required. We operate all night or as long as you dare without falling asleep on the key. 7:30 AM Sunday morning usually comes early and some food may be consumed as breakfast is normally unceremonious. We operate as long as we can or until 2:00 PM which is when the contest ends. 2:00 PM Sunday We dismantle the field day sight and return the tent and other objects to their point of storage. Remember June 27th and 28th Field Day at the Wolcott House.
