Friday August 21, 2015 Parks Tower 1:00 p.m.

We are planning on being on site at about 1:00 p.m. It is okay if you
show up later. It is okay to show up at 5 or 6 p.m. We do not know how
long this will take but barring any unforeseen problems we hope to be
finished by 6 or 7 p.m. There is plenty to do so while some one is doing
one thing you may be asked to assist with another. BRING WORK GLOVES! If
you are a TMRA member and want to help but have not been asked, please
contact me. 419-367-1200.

Here is a little breakdown of what we want to try to accomplish…

·We intend on replacing the connection at the antenna regardless of
being good or bad with a flexible jumper to alleviate possible problems
with movement or vibration...

·Test the Station Master antenna to determine if the connection is bad
or the antenna itself is bad.

·If the antenna proves to be bad we will remove and replace the antenna.

·The antenna (Station Master) will be lowered to the ground from the
roof by rope.

·We will need 4 or 5 people on the ground and at least three on the roof
to perform the task. I will bring hard hats and fencing to secure the
work area.

·We will need 4 or 5 to put up the fencing and take it down once the
task is complete.

·We will install a new 2 meter antenna.

·We want to install the Fusion repeater and make it functional on the
70cm frequency of 442.850.

·We will need to move and adjust the 440 and the 220 meter antennas in
order to configure them in a manner that they will least affect each
other and give the best footprint.

·If you want to bring something that you might think will be helpful to
what we are trying to accomplish, (Tape, Tools, Silicone, Extra gloves)
please do so as even though we may not need it, a spare may be useful.

·We do not have a designated climber as of yet. We will cover that at
the time when we do the climb.

BRING WORK GLOVES…I already said that. We may need a distant station
using a HT to help determine the test on the 2 meter antenna. If you are
not going to be on site but want to help, Monitor the 147.270 with your HT .

BRING YOUR 2 METER HT. We will be using the frequency of 145.555 for
talkaround and talk-in since the 147.270 will be off the air for the
project.

Thanks for listening.
