NORC IS AN ACRONYM FOR NORTHWEST OHIO REGIONAL COMMUNICATIONS. 

 THE COUNTIES INVOLVED ARE: ALLEN, AUGLAIZE, DEFIANCE, ERIE, FULTON,
HANCOCK, HENRY, HURON, LUCAS, MERCER, OTTAWA, PAULDING, PUTNAM,
SANDUSKY, SENECA, VAN WERT, WILLIAMS, AND WOOD. 

 HOSPITALS LOCATED IN THESE COUNTIES ARE INVOLVED WITH THE NORTHWEST
OHIO HEALTHCARE EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT COALITION (NWO-HEMC). 

The hospitals of NWO-HEMC have written into their emergency back-up
plans a place for amateur radio operators to participate. 

Like the NTS, the use of VHF/UHF and the use of HF is strategically
important when relaying communications when the internet and other
communications infrastructures are down. Please consider participating.
