*Update on Dates and Topics Covered 3/4/14*

*THANK YOU ALL,*

With three plus months of the Newcomers and Elmers Net in the logbooks we
are still going strong.

The use of the 2M repeater to "put the wattage into your cottage" every
Sunday night at 2000hrs has a real following.

We continue to receive positive feedback from the Newcomers for the TMRA
providing this service.

Below are the dates we need a Net Control and suggested topics for March.

Topics are ONLY suggestions. If you want to talk about something else no
problem.

*Requested Topics are:*

We still need net controls for March 9, 16, 23, and 30.

If you can give us a hand email or call Dave and sign up for a Sunday night.

We are flexible.

If something comes up on your Sunday night *call me* (419-893-8811), and we
will find someone to fill in for you.

The strength of the Net is in having a lot of *different* Net Controls and
Elmers, AND having an interactive net to get the new people on the air.

73,

Dave

*THANK YOU!*

*Newcomers and Elmers Net*

The Sunday night net has a real following thanks to *your* volunteering as
a net control, and our regular Elmers, KC8TVW, WA8SYD, and KE8UE.

It just shows how important an hour, every month or so of your time, is for
the TMRA and to the new hams in the Toledo area.

We are into the second rotation of our volunteer net controls, and hope you
will sign up for another Sunday night.

Always being responsive to the new ham needs, we are trying to be more
interactive and less just reading the scripts.

Scripts are a starting point, and we are asking for *any* questions on new
ham problems, and doing a round robins of checked in stations to get
everyone "on the air".
