[TMRA] 147.27 repeater query

I will be going out to my "station" for the Glass City Marathon, which is at the entrance to Olander park Thursday , to check my signal to get into the repeater.
If my memory serves me, back many years ago there was a code that would have the repeater either give a signal strength or record your transmission and play it back, Is that still available?
That way I'll know if I need to change from HT to a portable mobile unit!
