TMRA is scheduled to hold a Ham Radio operating event at the Maumee Branch of the Lucas County Library on January 29th. This event will be known as "Wireless Day". We will be allowed to occupy the Library from 12:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The operating/demonstrating will be from 1:00 PM until 7:00 PM
The plan is for three stations to be set up for operation and demonstration of amateur radio capability. We would like to demonstrate the 80 meter band, the 20 or 40 meter band, and D-STAR and/or IRLP.
We are planning for 3 stations (2 HF and 1 VHF/UHF) to operate as space is limited for antennas.
There is room to stretch an 80 meter dipole for NIVS operation. 20 meters is also a possibility.
We will need a UHF station with D-STAR capability and a portable antenna as well.
If you are interested in helping with any or all of this event please let me know.

Steve / W8TER
